This is an appeal from the district courts denial of a motion for summary judgment for claims brought against police officers John Mataya and Greg Connolly under 42 U.S.C. Γ§ 1983, for false arrest and use of excessive force. Mataya and Connolly moved for summary judgment on two grounds: (1) they are entitled to qualified immunity; and (2) they had probable cause to arrest plaintiff, thereby barring a suit for false arrest. The district court determined that genuine issues of material fact existed and denied the motion. We affirm.
